I always love it when a new "Mini" comes out. It's so exciting to see all the new stamp sets and accessories. From today until August 31st you will be able to order from this catalog. I think one of the big favorites will be the "Island Oasis" designer paper and the "Tropical Party" stamp set that will be great to use for all of your summer parties. "SWEET PEA" DESIGNER PAPER AND EMBELLISHMENTS

We learned earlier this week that the "Sweet Pea" designer paper and "Sweet Pea Stitched Felt" has already sold out from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I'm sure alot of you are sad, just like me.
These are some cards made by my friend, Bernice M., and designed by her demonstrator and my good friend, Karen H. The cards are made from the "Sweet Pea" designer paper and embellished with the "Sweet Pea Stitched Felt". Even though we can't use the same designer paper or embellishments we can use the design of the cards to CASE (Copy and Steal Everything) our own cards. Thanks Bernice and Karen for sharing your cards.

'AWASH WITH FLOWERS"

Stampin' Up! has given us a chance to "sneek" into the 2010 Catalog and see this pretty two-step stampin' set. The "Awash with Flowers" set comes in the wood or clear mount and will be available to purchase through the end of April. You can order the set by clicking on the shopping cart. ONE MORE "FIFTH AVENUE" CARD

As you can tell, I really enjoy using the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. This is a simple card that can be used in so many ways - Mother's Day, Birthday, Sympathy, Thinking of You, etc. The card is made with one of the new corner punches in the Occassions Mini Catalog. To step it up a notch just use the coordinating punch that was free in the Sale-A-Bration catalog. (Be looking for this punch in the new 2010-2011 Catalog. I feel sure it will be there.)

This is a quick and easy card to make at your camp.To save time it's a good idea to go ahead and punch the borders on all of the cards except one. This gives the stamper a chance to use the punch but it's a real time saver, especially if you only have one punch. Also, don't forget to stamp something inside the card as well as something on the envelope. This takes your cardmaking to the "next level".
