EVERYONE LOVE A "CHOCOLATE BUNNY"

This is another card that my sister, Shirley, designed for one of our camps. She stamped the chocolate bunny (#116980) from the Occasions Mini Catalog on Whisper White cardstock (#100730) and layered it on Chocolate Chip cardstock (#102128). The carrots in the background are made from the Pick-A-Petal (#115042) and Priceless (#115052) stamp sets. Pumpkin Pie (#105117) and Old Olive (#100702) stamp pads were used.

The Priceless and Pick-A-Petal sets are a "must have" - both sets are so versatile.

"SCRAPPY CARDS"

Aren't these pretty cards? My sister, Shirley, made them for one of our camps. She used four 1" scraps of designer paper for the bottom of the card and used the eyelet border punch (#113692) on a piece of whisper white cardstock (#100730) on the top of the card. Stampin' Up! ribbon was used as well as the little butterfly from the Flight of the Butterfly (#111564) stamp set.
What a great way to use your designer paper scraps!!!
Check out Shirley's blog at http://thedailystamper.blogspot.com/ to see other pretty cards and projects that she has made.

"SHARE YOUR TALENTS"

This past Sunday our minister's sermon was on "Share Your Talents". While sitting in church I thought about what talent I could share.
I love to sew so I have decided to make baby quilts and donate them to the wonderful children's hospitals that we have in Charlotte.
What talents do you have that you can share with others?

HAPPINESS IS -----------"

Happiness is seeing your granddaughter become a creative young lady.
My youngest grandchild, Jessie, is almost 9 years old and is very creative. She loves all sorts of paper crafts, especially making cards. She has even made several pillows on the sewing machine, with Nana's help.
Jessie loves to give her projects away. She made the St. Patrick's Day cards for her Dad and her two aunts and their families. She made the pillows for one of her aunts and another one for her Dad.
It's so rewarding to see you grandchildren enjoy some of the same things that you do.

WEAR "GREEN" DAY!!!!

DON'T FORGET TO WEAR GREEN TODAY!!

This is a card my sister, Shirley, sent to me wishing me a Happy St. Patrick's Day. It's made from a "retired" stamp set, Pinch Proof. The little leprechaun is so cute. There are just some stamp sets that you don't to get rid of and this is one of them.
I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT ST. PATRICK'S DAY AND TRY NOT TO GET PINCHED."

Remember that there are only 14 left until the Sale-A-Bration promotion ends. Be sure to take advantage of this one a year promotion.

TOP NOTE EASTER TREAT

This is a cute and simple Easter treat that you can make in just a few minutes. A small white bag is attached to two Top Note cutouts. Then I used the "A Good Egg" stamp set, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" circle punches and the scallop punch to embellis the little purse. Finish it off by trying ribbon on the handle.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY

My friend, Linda, sent me this pretty St. Patrick's Day card.
Linda used her Big Shot and one of the Perfect Details Texturz Plates to emboss the Whisper White cardstock. Then she used her Garden Green marker and put a little dot at each of the points - this just made the card!!!
She used her Heart Punch to punch out 4 pieces of Designer Paper to make the 4-leaf clover. She even gave me a gold coin behind the "Pinch Proof" (retired) stamp by using the Brushed Gold Cardstock.
Remember to check out my March Special that I posted on March 5th. Be sure to take advantage of the Sale-A-Bration while you can.

FABRIC FLOWER PINS

The fabric flower pins have become so popular that I had to make one. My sister, Shirley, and I went to the fabric shop the other day and had a great time picking out all colors of fabric to make the pins. They are really quick and easy to make and will make great gifts to give to friends.

"MY FAVORITE FLOWER"

Daffodils are my very favorite flowers. When they bloom I know that Spring can't be far behind.
When I saw this stamp set, Abundant Hope, in the Occassions Mini Catalog I knew I had to have it.
This card was also made at our "GG" Stamper's Club last week (see yesterday's post). The "spotlighting" technique was used; therefore, there was very little coloring. Also, the new punch that is FREE in the Sale-A-Bration catalog was used to give a pretty scalloped trim border. If you would like dimensions for the card just email me at csoehler@bellsouth.net.

March is the final month of the Sale-A-Bration promotion. Don't miss this chance to receive FREE merchandise. Look over the Sale-A-Bration brochure on the right hand side of my blog for details on this great promotion.

"GG' STAMPER CLUB CARDS

My sister, Shirley and I held our bi-monthly "GG" (Gorgeous Girls) Stamp Club last week and these are the cards that Shirley designed for the ladies. The one on the left is made from the pretty designer paper, Sweet Pea, on page 33 of the Occasions Mini Catalog. This 12" x 12" pack of designer paper contains a total of 48 sheets, 2 each of 24 double-sided designs.
The card on the right is "cased" right from the March issue of the Stampin' Success magazine. This is a monthly magazine that is sent to all Stampin' Up! demonstrators. It includes helpful articles and lots of ideas for cards and scrapbook pages.
If you would like dimensions of either of the cards contact Shirley at shirleym@vnet.net. Also, be sure to visit her blog at http://thedailystamper.blogspot.com

I'M BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Now that the Olympic Games are over maybe I can get back to "blogging". I really enjoy watching all the athletes that have trained so hard realize their lifetime goal of just being able to compete in the Olympic games. Congratulations to all the US teams that competed!!

This is one of my favorite St. Patrick's Day cards. I made this last year for some of my friends and next week I am going to help some of them make it themselves. If you would like the directions, please email me at csoehler@bellsouth.net.
